The Unison Project is a collaborative video project with production company Common Story that seeks to capture the experience of a cappella singers as they emerge from lockdown and are able, once again, to sing together.
In February 2020 ten amazing a cappella groups from across the UK came to the University of Warwick to compete in the inaugural Open A cappella Competition.
The OAC are collaborating with the Festival of Hope Coventry to create a series of workshops to remember the past, through literature, art and movement.
Each workshop will begin with a reading from Caribbean literature, which you will be sent in advance. The readings will focus on the power of the arts to express difficult memories and tell difficult stories to acknowledge the past and work towards reconciliation.
